Air Cleaner Technology Advances The EPA tells us that indoor air is actually more harmful than outdoor air…up to 5 times more harmful. Fortunately, innovation has given us a technological solution for this problem, through air purification devices. Air cleaners today have come a long way, and several advancements have been made in them. They are increasingly becoming more effective, area specific, and provide a better overall performance. There are a large number of technologies that are used to address the need for clean indoor air. There are only a few however that are actually effective in treating the air without harming the individual. These are HEPA, Electrostatic, UV, Activated Carbon, and some other adsorption materials like Zeolite Clay.
